AAAAH-tumn!

This was the title to an article in our paper today and it sums up my love for this time of year. Even though our temps are still hanging around the upper 70's and low 80's (still too warm for my taste), I have been in the mood for some yummy, fall, comfort food. Last nights dinner was so good.....

The creamy chicken soup recipe came from this book (which is awesome by the way), so I can't share it, but the bread bowls were so good and the perfect way to enjoy this soup. That recipe came from here. I had some leftover bread bowls, so I froze them to eat next week with another yummy fall comfort food...my favorite chili! YUMMY!

I have this book!! I actually have a 'signed' copy - pretty neato eh? LOL
My sisters and I went to a boutique in SLC last fall "Oh Sweet Sadie" and Liz was there making her 'baguettes' right in front of us - she served them with her tomato basil soup - they were both so amazing, we all bought her cookbook!
Her "Italian Loaf" and her "French baguettes" are a staple in our home - I haven't tried too many more of her recipes - but this'll make me take a second look! THANKS!

I can't believe this but . . . I was at the same boutique last fall and saw Liz there and I bought this cookbook as well! I have tried many of her recipes and love them all. I also made this soup this week and we loved it. I will definately make this soup again. Next time I will try it in a bread bowl. Looks yummy!

This book is all the rage, I guess I need to get it! Ben and I have been wanting to have chili in bread bowls, so that is funny that you posted about this. I love fall and all the yummy foods that go with it.
