Christmas lights at Temple Square...

Is there anything more beautiful than the Salt Lake Temple all lit up for Christmas?  I think not!  Brett and I decided that it would be fun to take the boys to Salt Lake to see the Christmas lights.  We decided to invite some family members along for the fun (we love living near family).  We met up with Grandma and Grandpa McGee, Grandma Stewart, Kevin and Breanne, and Matt and his kids.  First we enjoyed pizza at The Pie in Salt Lake (one of our favorite restaurants), then it was off to Temple Square to soak in some Christmas spirit.

Austin was so excited to ride the pony and you could just tell that he thought he was pretty awesome up there and he's right, he is one cool cowboy!

When did Erik get so tall?! He is growing up way too fast.

Wrapping it up

Well, our vacation has quickly come to an end. Even after 3 weeks of fun filled days, I wasn't quite ready to pack it all up and head home. It is amazing to me that even with all the time that we spent there, there was still more that we wanted to do. Oh well, there's always next time right?

So what did we do? We enjoyed time with family and friends, we welcomed home a missionary, attended a wedding, shopped, played games, crafted, went to movies, shopped, ate way too much junk food, stayed up way too late, shopped and we even found some time to read a few books. Did I mention that I shopped? It was a great 3weeks. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. Here are a few pictures of all of our fun.

And I think this picture sums it all up

Welcome Home

The first week of our 3 week excursion to Utah has already flown by. Elder McGee arrived home on Wed., Sept. 3, from his mission in Santa Rosa, CA. He looks great! It has been so much fun to see him and be able to spend time with him again. Welcome home Kev!

We love Jelly Bellies...

While the cousins were visiting, we took all the kids to the Jelly Belly Factory for a tour and some sweet treats. Here are a few pics of our fun-filled day...

After the tour, we had lunch at the Jelly Belly cafe. (*Notice the jelly bean shaped pizza...too cute)
